Chestnut Hill, our bed and breakfast in Central Virginia, is located in picturesque Orange County, approximately 1/2 hour from Charlottesville, VA and just a few miles from the Blue Ridge Mountains.

From the North: (DC, Baltimore, Northern Virginia)

Travel South on I-95 into Virginia to VA-3 west via exit number 130B towards Culpeper.

Proceed approximately 13 miles and turn left on onto VA-20/CONSTITUTION HWY.

Continue to follow VA-20/CONSTITUTION HWY 22 miles to the second traffic light. This traffic light is the intersection of US-15/CAROLINE ST/VA-20. From this intersection you can see Chestnut Hill Bed and Breakfast Inn.

At this intersection, turn left onto US-15/CAROLINE ST/VA-20 and then make an IMMEDIATE first right into our driveway.

Alternate From the North: (Hagerstown MD, Frederick MD, Leesburg VA, Dulles Airport)

From Frederick MD, travel on US-15 S toward WINCHESTER for approximately 24 miles.

Turn RIGHT onto LEE HWY/US-29 S/US-15 S. Continue to follow US-29 S/US-15 S for approximately 34 miles.

Take the US-15 ramp toward CULPEPER/ORANGE. Turn LEFT onto US-15 S/US-15 BR S/ORANGE RD. Continue to follow US-15 S for approximately 17 miles.

Turn LEFT onto US-15/CAROLINE ST/VA-20 and proceed to the next traffic light. From this light, you can see Chestnut Hill Bed and Breakfast off to the right. Continue straight through this traffic light to the immediate first right into our driveway.

From the Southwest: (Knoxville TN, Roanoke VA)

From Knoxville take I-81 N into Virginia.

Merge onto I-64 E via EXIT 221 toward RICHMOND and travel approximately 37 miles.

Take the US-250 exit, EXIT 124, toward SHADWELL/CHARLOTTESVILLE and turn RIGHT onto RICHMOND RD/US-250 E. Travel approximately 2 miles.

Stay STRAIGHT to go onto LOUISA RD/VA-22 and continue to travel approximately 5.5 miles.

Stay STRAIGHT to go onto GORDONSVILLE RD/VA-231. Continue to follow VA-231 N for approximately 9.6 miles.

Enter next roundabout and take 2nd exit onto US-15 N and travel 8.4 miles to first traffic light.

DO NOT proceed through traffic light intersection. The entrance to Chestnut Hill B&B is on the left JUST before this traffic light intersection.

From the Southeast: (Richmond VA, VA Beach, Norfolk)

From Virginia Beach and the Norfolk areas, take I-64 W.

Merge onto I-295 N via EXIT 200 toward WASHINGTON and proceed approximately 24.4 miles.

Merge onto I-64 W via EXIT 53A toward CHARLOTTESVILLE and proceed approximately 40.8 miles.

Take the US-15 exit, EXIT 136, toward GORDONSVILLE/PALMYRA. Turn RIGHT onto US-15 N/JAMES MADISON HWY. Continue to follow US-15 N. Pass through 1 roundabout making sure to stay on US-15 N.

After roundabout, continue travel 8.4 miles to first traffic light.
